Welcome to Camp Agape Bereavement Camp For Children
SAVE THE DATE, JUNE 26-29, 2009!!
Camp Agape is a unique and innovative summer camp program designed specifically for children who have suffered the loss of a loved one. The losses from which our children have suffered are great and range from cancer and illness, car wrecks, suicide, accidents and even murder. Our service is available to ALL children between 7 and 12 years of age who are grieving and need support. Camp Agape also assists military children who have lost a parent in war action. Our FREE, Christian-based service offers all the fun of a typical summer camp, along with group-therapy activities to assist the children with their bereavement process. These activities incorporate the use of art, music, games and play therapies; with the theme of offering true HOPE for their future.

The Family Christian Stores in Georgetown and it's store manager, Jennifer Craig, selected Camp Agape to be the recipient of their annual "Adopt A Bear" campaign. Customers were offered the opportunity to donate a bear that will be given to each child who attends Camp Agape next summer. Over 200 bears have already been donated so far! We are grateful for the support of Jennifer, her staff and the Family Christian Stores!
